what types of trees and plants (vegtables, flowers) grow well in sandy soil?

"I need a type of hedge and some pretty annuals etc. I would love fruit beaing trees and flowering trees. Adn i especially love trees that grow fast! Any ideas on what types of these grow in sand soil! thanks!Heather
