can i use weeds in a vermicomposting bin if i get them before they make seed?

If you make sure to let the compost mature there shouldn’t be any problem with what you want to put in there. The worms will get rid of any diseases. They might not be able to get rid of all weed seeds, but in my opinion, the benefits of the good compost outweigh the potential introduction of a few weed seeds.
